Our trip to Minneapolis

Soo like I said in May we went to Minneapolis for a weekend vacation, it was awesome and a ton of fun. We left Friday morning after Ryan got a few hours of sleep since he worked 3rd shift the nigh before, it was a long drive but went pretty well! Our new van has dvd players in it so Ryan sat way in the back and watched a movie and passed snacks to Landyn. We stopped once on the way and had lunch, Landyn played in his first fast food play land, he loved the ball pit!

After checking into the hotel we went to the Mall of America and had dinner at the Rainforest Cafe, it was super yummy!




Friday night was awful for sleeping, glad we upgraded to the King size bed since it ended up being all 4 of us in one bed! Lilly, me, Landyn and Ryan. Lilly always sleeps with us but Landyn wanted nothing to do with his pack n play. (the next night we left the tv on and he fell asleep watching it, good trick!)

Saturday morning we got up bright and early and headed to Underwater World (it's in the basement of the Mall of America) Landyn didn't seem to care, I was hoping he would be more interested considering how expensive it was! oh well it was fun :)








The next morning we headed to the Minnesota Zoo!
Landyn was kind of getting crabby but we still had fun anyway! I wish we would have had more time there!

What's new with us....

Soo its been forever since I've blogged, over a month since I've been on blogger, couldn't remember my password and honestly just didn't care. So this is what we've been up to....

Landyn is now 19 months, loves cars, running around outside and biting. He is a very busy boy who still takes 2 naps a day and he has a temper. He will throw a tantrum because of any small thing, I'm hoping he will outgrow this VERY soon. He LOVES to throw balls, well more like drop them behind his head and then clap and scream, but it works for him and that's what matters! Lillyanna is 5 months old, weighs just under 13 pounds and loves to roll over! She's a long skinny baby! She has no schedule at this point, sleeps when she wants, breastfeeds on demand, and this is really working for us! Ryan got a new job the end of March, it has opened huge doors for us as a family. It has way better benefits and more pay. He seems to like it even though he works swing shift which throws off our days but we are just going with it and it's working! :)I took a knitting class last week and am not very good at it, at all but I will get practice eventually. I got a new van, a 2010 Dodge Grand Caravan SXT, its amazing and I LOVE it! I keep adding to my babywearing and cloth diaper stash for the kids, I love buying stuff for them!

In May we went to Minneapolis for a weekend with my parents, it was a ton of fun and minus the no sleeping thing it went really well! (look for pictures later)

In June Lilly was baptised into the Catholic Church (look for pictures of that too)

But really we've been just hanging out as a family and dreaming of the future!
